Q 1 - Madhav walks towards North for 15 m and from there he goes towards right-hand side for 10 m and again turns right-hand side for 5 m. He is in which direction?

Options :

When he goes towards North and turns right-hand side, he is either in North or in East. But he has traversed less in the last move than his first move by 10 m. So, he is in the North-East direction.

Q 2 - Raghuveer started walking towards South. After walking 10 m, he turned right-hand side and walked 20 m. He then turned right-hand side and walked 10 m. He again turned left-hand side and walked 25m. How far is he from his initial position?

Options :

When Raghuveer walked 10m South and turned right-hand side and walked 20m and again turned right-hand side and walked 10 m, he is 20 m to the West of his initial position. Then he turned right-hand side and walked 25 m. So, after the final movement, he is 5m to the East of his initial position.

Q 3 - Sanjeev started walking from home towards the North-East direction. Then guess the direction of his home.

Options :

As he walks towards North East, his home will be behind him, which will be in the South-West direction.

Q 4 - Yuvraj walks towards South for 3.5 m and turns right-hand side. He then walks 1 m, turns right-hand side and walks for 3.5 m. He is in which direction from his previous position?

Options :

After going towards South, he turned right-hand side and again right-hand side covering 3.5, 1.0 and 3.5 m. Therefore, after the final movement, he is to the West of his previous position.

Q 5 - Vidyadhar started walking from home towards South. Which of the following will lead him to West?

Options :

A - Right-hand side, right-hand side, right-hand side.

B - Left-hand side, left-hand side, left-hand side.

If Vidyadhar will move from his initial position in three consecutive left-hand side direction it can lead him to the West.

Q 6 - If East is replaced by South-West, then West will be replaced by-

Options :

If East will be replaced by South-West, then simultaneously each direction will shift 135 degree in clockwise direction and West will be replaced by North-East.

Q 7 - Sangram started to move in the East direction in an open field and stopped after walking 25m. Now he turned to his right-hand side and walked 10 m. How much minimum distance he has to cover to reach his starting point?

Options :

Here, we have to apply the Pythagoras theorem to get the answer. We will take the square of each number i.e. 25 and 10, which are 625 and 100 respectively. Next, we will add them and the result of addition is 725. Finally, we will take the square root of the addition and the result is 26.92 m. So, the minimum distance here is 27 m.

Q 8 - Santosh started moving in the South direction in an open field and stopped after moving 50m. Now he turned to his right-hand side and moved 25 m. How much minimum distance he has to cover to reach his starting point?

Options :

Here, we have to apply the Pythagoras theorem to get the answer. We will take the square of each number i.e. 50 and 25, which are 2500 and 625 respectively. Next, we will add them and the result of addition is 3125. Finally, we will take the square root of the addition and the result is 55.9 m. So, the minimum distance here is 56 m.

Q 9 - Wridhimaan started to move towards East in an open field and stopped after moving 55m. Now he turned to his right-hand side and moved 25 m. How much minimum distance he has to cover to reach his starting point?

Options :

Here, we have to apply the Pythagoras theorem to get the answer. We will take the square of each number i.e. 55 and 25, which are 3025 and 625 respectively. Next, we will add them and the result of addition is 3650. Finally, we will take the square root of the addition and the result is 60.41 m. So, the minimum distance here is 60 m.

Q 10 - Sritam started to move towards North-East on a road and stopped after moving 100m. He turned to his right-hand side and moved 50 m. How much minimum distance he has to cover to reach his starting point?

Options :

Here, we have to apply the Pythagoras theorem to get the answer. We will take the square of each number i.e. 100 and 50, which are 10000 and 2500 respectively. Next, we will add them and the result of addition is 12500. Finally, we will take the square root of the addition and the result is 111.80 m. So, the minimum distance here is 111 m.
