Q 4 - Find the day of the week on 27^{th} January 1959.

27^{th} January 1959 has 1958 years, 0 months and 27 days. Now 1600 years have no odd days and 300 years have one odd day. The rest 58 years contain 14 leap years and 44 ordinary years so the number of days can be calculated as follows:

(14 × 366 + 44 × 365) days

= 21184 days = 21184/7 = 3026 weeks and 2 days. It means 58 years contain 2 odd days.

The remaining 0 months and 27 days = 27 days = 3 weeks + 6 odd days = 1 + 6 + 2 = 9. 9 odd days means it is 7 + 2 = 9 or 2 odd days. That day is Tuesday. Hence option C is correct.

Q 5 - How many days are there in between the dates 17^{th} March and 23^{rd} April?

Here both the given dates are not inclusive. March has 14 days and April has 22 days, so total 36 days are there.

Q 6 - How many days are there in between the dates 22^{nd} March and 30^{th} April?

Here both the given dates are not inclusive. So we will take 9 days from March and 29 days from April. So total 38 days are there.

Q 7 - Find the day of the week on 12^{th} June 2004.

By calculating the number of odd days from years, months, and days, we can say that 12^{th} June 2004 was on Saturday.

Q 8 - Today is Wednesday, what will be the day after 175 days?

Every day of the week is repeated after 7 days. Hence, it will be Wednesday after 175 days because 25 × 7 = 175.
