Emulator

What is Emulator?

An emulator is a hardware or software that emulates the functions of one computer system in another computer system.

Benefits:

  • Emulators allow users to continue our work on discontinued consoles.

  • Many emulators have already been released under GNU General Public License allowing for wide scale collaboration.

  • Despite the original cost of developing an emulator, it may prove to be the more cost efficient solution.
