What are the best tourist places in Jammu & Kashmir?
J and K are the acronyms of Jammu and Kashmir, a northern state in India. It has Punjab and Himachal Pradesh to its south and Pakistan and China to its west and east respectively. Most of its area is in the great Himalayas. Its capital is Srinagar. There are many famous places to visit in Jammu and Kashmir.
Ladakh
Ladakh is a land like no other with a surplus of attractions to visit and phantasmagoric and astonishing scenes, stunning individuals and culture.
Limited by two of the world's mightiest mountain range, the Great Himalaya, and the Karakoram, it lies athwart two other, the Ladakh range and the Zanskar range. Ladakh is mysterious in every one of the circles it covers, from nature, topography, views to the culture it fosters.
Straight from gompas to the electrifying momos, the superabundance of attractions to visit makes this city a paradise on earth. It is said that in Ladakh a man sitting in the sun with his feet in the shade experience the ill effects of sunstroke and frostbite at the same time.
Srinagar
This is a magnificent city, lying on the banks of River Jhelum with profound valleys cascaded in high mountains and evergreen beauty.
Right from Chashm-E-Shahi to the outlandish Shalimar garden, Srinagar offers abundant spots to visit. Encompassed by mountains for the adventurers, to lakes for Photoholics, to shopping markets for the prodigals, Srinagar satisfies everybody. The Dal lake is the most delightful and most famous lakes in India and a Shikara ride there would be a life-changing experience.
Khilanmarg
Khilanmarg is small-scale Valley set at a 6 km walk and 2000 feet above Gulmarg which is a popular tourist destination.
A standout amongst the most delightful place to be in, Khilanmarg is encompassed by all scenic landscapes of a few tallest Himalayan peaks. This place is the ideal combination of natural magnificence together with adventurous sports, making it a favored spot for a huge number of tourists.
Khilanmarg is an extraordinary place for unique tourists as the place is not straightforwardly reachable on vehicles. One needs to either stroll from Gulmarg or take a horse to reach this place. Khilanmarg is secured with blooming and aromatic blossoms in spring and is a favorite destination for skiing in winter.
Sonamarg
Sonamarg is a town with snow-secured bloom loaded fields. In its region lies the immense Himalayan ice sheets of Kashmir Valley to be specific, Kolhoi Glacier and Machoi Glacier with a few high peaks of over 5000 mt, Sirbal Peak, Kolhoi Peak, Amarnath Peak, and Machoi Peak.
Sonamarg means 'the place where there is gold', it is a pleasant town situated in Kashmir valley at a height of around 2800 km above sea level. It is a well-known vacation destination of Jammu and Kashmir as it is bounded by breathtaking glaciers and tranquil lakes. Limited by regular excellence, stunning ice sheets and tranquil lakes the place is a well-known vacation destination of Jammu and Kashmir.
Nilagrad, a settlement of the Baltics, is a beautiful area that one can simply visit. Sonamarg is the home of numerous wonderful and quiet lakes. Different mountain lakes, for example, Gangabal, Vishansar, Gadsar, Satsar, and Kishansar are arranged in and around Sonamarg. Another famous lake in Sonamarg is Vishansar. Krishnasar Lake, located at a height of 3, 801m above ocean level, is prominent for fishing.
