Java Calendar getCalendarType() Method



Description

The Java Calendar getCalendarType() method returns the calendar type of the calendar instance. As per its default implementation, this method returns the class name of the calendar instance.

Getting Calendar Type of a Calendar Instance Example

The following example shows the usage of Java Calendar getCalendarType() method. We're creating an instance of a Calendar of current date. Then calendar type is retrieved using getCalendarType() method. We're printing the type thereafter.
