What are the leading milk brands available in India?
Milk is known as "complete food". I remember while growing up as a child, my mother used to ask me to read aloud this line in my Science textbook repeatedly so that I could drink milk daily.
Nowadays there are many brands of milk available. Here are a few of them:
Amul: Amul is an Indian dairy cooperative, based at Anand in Gujarat. Amul can be known as the first brand of milk and is not only famous for milk but also cream, paneer, cheese, and other milk products.
Vita: It is also a famous milk brand with other related dairy products as well.
Mother Dairy: Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt Ltd is an Indian company that manufactures, markets, and sells milk and milk products. Its head office is based in Noida.
Saras: The leading milk brand of Rajasthan is Saras, which also sells Curd, Chaach, Paneer, Shree Khund, Ghee, etc.
Dynamix Dairy: Popular brand of Maharastra, it was established in 1995 and has gained popularity since then.
Kwality Limited: Kwality Ltd. (Kwality) was incorporated in 1992 as Kwality Dairy (India) Ltd as a background company to Kwality Ice creams. North India has many dairies which sell products of this dairy.
