Hands-on lessons (5-10 minutes long) to introduce new key concepts.
At the end of the level (section), some exercises to practice on the key points of the section, and also combine the concepts together.

Level 1: Write a program, variables, arrays, vectors, user input.

excellent basics course. the key was building on examples iteratively, and seeing the outputs immediately. the tool rarely gets in the way and when it does, the instructor uses that situation to teach something else. I would definitely take an additional course by this person
