Yellow, the color of sunshine, hope, and happiness, has numerous associations. On one hand, yellow stands for freshness, happiness, positivity, clarity, energy, optimism, enlightenment, and joy.

The word 'color' is used to refer to a color that doesn’t change over time. Colors that change over the time are referred to as Gradients. Gradients contain one or more colors and the timing relationship of when the colors change.

Attributes of Colour

Newton demonstrated in the Optics that an isolated light has power or disposition which depends on the relative balance of the component "rays". The six attributes mentioned in the definition of perceived color are hue, brightness, lightness, colorfulness, saturation, and Chroma. The human eye is much more sensitive to yellow-green or similar hues.

Pure, bright and sunny yellow is the easiest color to see. It is also surprising to know that people who are blind to other colors can usually see yellow. This color is full of creative energy. Bright yellow is attention seeking color too. Thus, Yellow is definitely symbolic of vibrancy, joy, and celebration.
