CSS pseudo-class - :read-only
CSS :read-only pseudo-class selects elements, like input fields and textareas, that users cannot be edit. This includes elements that have the readonly attribute.
Syntax
:read-only {
/* ... */
}
For better browser compatability, you can use -moz and -webkit prefixes. For example: input: -moz-read-only and input: -webkit-read-only.
