Why mud is a collide?

A collide is a substance microscopically dispersed evenly throughout another substance. It can be insoluble or soluble particles which are suspended throughout another substance.

The dispersed-phase particles have a diameter between about 5 and 200 nanometers.

Examples: Milk is an emulsion, which is a colloid in which both parties are liquid.

Muddy water is a classic suspension, with relatively large solid particles suspended in water, which does not settle down easily.
