What is fleece?


Hairy skin of sheep is called the fleece. The process of removing the fleece of the sheep along with a thin layer of skin is known as shearing.

the natural fleece of sheep and goat is mostly black, brown or white in colours they can be dyed in various colours.

After completing the dying process fibres are straightened combed and rolled into yarn, and the longer fibres are made into wool, and the shorter fibres are spun and woven into woollen cloth.
