What is the process by which the skin is removed from the fleece of Sheep?
The process of removing the fleece of the sheep along with a thin layer of skin is known as shearing.
Usually, shearing is done during the hot weather because the sheep can survive in summer without their protective coat of hair. Sheep can be shorn in all the seasons, depending on the climate and availability of shearers and wool classes.
