1). What is additive identity?2). What is Reciprocal?
3). What is multiplicative inverse?
Solution:
1). Additive Identity:
A value which is added to any number and the resulting value remains unchanged, is known as additive identity.
e.g. $x+0=x$
$\Rightarrow 0$ is the additive identity for any real number.
2). Reciprocal:
When a number is multiplied by any number such that the product is one , is known as Reciprocal of the number.
e.g. $x\times \frac{1}{x}=1$
Thus, $x$ and $\frac{1}{x}$ are the reciprocals of each other.
3). Multiplicative inverse:
Reciprocal and Multiplicative inverse mean the same.
