What are complementary and supplementary angles ?
Complementary angles:
The angle that is added to another angle to make the sum 90 degrees is called a complementary angle.
For example,
The complementary angle of 20 is 70 and similarly,
The complementary angle of 40 is 50.
Supplementary angles:
The angle that is added to another angle to make the sum 180 degrees is called a supplementary angle.
For example,
The supplementary angle of 20 is 160 and similarly,
The supplementary angle of 140 is 40.
