Difference between supplementary and linear pair angles:

Supplementary angles

Linear pair angles

Two angles are said to be supplementary if the sum of their measures is 180 degrees.

Supplementary angles, angles need not be adjacent.

The angles are said to be linear pair angles if they are adjacent to each other and the sum of their measures is 180°.

Linear pair angles are always supplementary.
