Find the perimeter of a rectangle, whose length is 40 cm and breadth is 35 cm.

Given :

Length of a rectangle = 40 cm

Breadth of a rectangle = 35 cm

To find :

We have to find the perimeter of the Rectangle.

Solution :

We know that,

Perimeter of a rectangle of length l and breadth b is $2(l+b)$.

Perimeter of the given rectangle $= 2(40+35)$ cm

                                                            $= 2\times75$ cm

                                                            = 150 cm.

The Perimeter of Rectangle is 150 cm.
