x^{2} +frac{1}{x}(ii) 3z25z+6\sqrt{3} z^{2} -5\sqrt{z+6} is not a polynomial because the term 5z+6=5(z+6)12-5\sqrt{z+6} =-5( z+6)^{\frac{1}{2}}  and in this term the variable (z) is raised to the power -13z25z+6\sqrt{3} z^{2} -5\sqrt{z+6} is not a polynomial.
