Does being an ambidextrous increasing the learning ability? Or it is harmful for the brain?

Ambidextrous is the ability of an individual to use the right hand and left hands equally well.

A practice of making people ambidextrous is running from the historic era but this practice does not seem to improve brain function. Rather it may harm nerve development. The ambidextrous people are more tuned with their physical abilities compared to their mental abilities. Their performance is poor on general intelligence tests compared to the people with single hand use.
