A man weighing 70 kg carries a weight of 10 kg to the top of a tower 100 m high. Calculate the work done.

Here given, total mass of the man $m=70\ m+10\ kg=80\ kg.$

Height of the tower $h=100\ m$

Therefore, work done to carry the weight to the top of the tower $W=mgh$

$=80\times 9.8\times 100$

$=78,400\ Joule$
