A students caries a bag weighing 5 kg from the ground floor to his class on the first floor that is 2 m high. Calculate the work done by the boy.
Weight of bag $m=5/ Kg.$
Height of the floor $h=2\ m$
Therefore, work done to carry the bag from the ground floor to the first floor$=mgh$
$=5\times9.8\times2$
$=98\ J$
