A man of mass $60\ kg$ runs up a flight of $30$ steps in $40$ seconds. If each step is 20 cm high, calculate the power of the man.

Here given: mass of thee man $m=60\ kg.$

Number of steps $=30$

Height of each step $=20\ cm$

Total height $h=30\times20$

$600\ m$

Therefore, work done $W=mgh$

$=60\times9.8\times600$

$=3,52,800\ Joule$

Therefore, power of the man used $P=\frac{W}{t}$

$=\frac{3,52,800\ Joule}{40\ seconds}$

$=8820\ Watt$
