Description

Groovy List last() method returns the last element of the List.

Syntax

public Object last()

Parameters

NA

Return Value

last value of the List.

Example - Getting last value from a List of Integers

Following is an example of the usage of this method −

main.groovy

def lst = [11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19]

println(lst.last())

Output

When we run the above program, we will get the following result −

Following is an example of the usage of this method −

def lst = ["Apple","Mango","Orange", "Papaya", "Peach"]

println(lst.last())

println(lst.last())
