Difference between Baidu Cloud and Jumpshare

Baidu Cloud

Baidu Cloud is Baidu's all-encompassing cloud service launched in March 2012. Baidu Wangpan is its official name; however, it is more often known as Baidu Cloud. Baidu's number of monthly active users (MAU) is 544 million as of December 2020.

  • Among other things, it offers cloud storage, client software, file management, resource sharing, and third-party integration.

  • Any customer who registers up for Baidu Pan will receive 2 TB of free cloud storage space (Baidu Cloud Network Disk).

  • The maximum file size to upload is 4 GB in free accounts, and in paid versions, it is 20 GB. Since it follows a simple file storage cloud, it has only limited paid storage.

  • Files created on one client terminal can be immediately synced on other internet-connected client terminals.

  • Baidu Cloud Personal Edition is designed for individual users of cloud services to suit the diverse needs of their working lives, including Network disc, Personal home page, Address book, Photo album, Articles, Notepad, SMS backup, and Mobile phone recovery.

Baidu relies on its comparative superior knowledge of the local Chinese language and culture to better tailor its search technology to the needs of local users. The Chinese language is complicated, with some terms having many meanings. The context in which the words are utilized in the material is given a lot of weight by Baidu's search engines.

Baidu Inc. supervises Baidu cloud and provides the necessary customer support. This cloud was the first one to offer such ample storage for its users. Before them, free cloud storage was limited to 15 GB.

Jumpshare

Jumpshare is a visual communication platform that integrates file sharing, screenshot capturing, and screen recording into a single software. Ghaus Iftikhar launched the company in October of 2011.

  • Jumpshare allowed guests to upload and share files at first. Then Jumpshare enhanced their service by adding screenshot and video recording options.

  • They work on almost all platforms such as Windows, MacOS and iOS devices.

  • Jumpshare uses 256-bit AES encryption. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have an option for private, end to end encryption or zero-encryption knowledge.

  • Jumpshare offers 2 GB of free storage and allows maximum storage of up to 1 TB. The full file size is 250 MB for free and unlimited for premium members.

  • It supports remote uploading and has traffic or band-width of 5 GB for free and 200 GB per month for paid users.

  • Over 200 different file kinds are supported on the site, including pictures, Office files, e-books, audio and video files, and even code files.

It is less expensive because it charges less for additional storage. Users do not have to sign up to upload files to Jumpshare initially, but it was later made mandatory.
