What are some home remedies for wrinkles under eyes?
Wrinkles under the eye spoil the entire beauty of your face. Mainly women are worried about these wrinkles and spend a lot of time and money in the beauty parlor, and try using expensive creams.
There are some simple home remedies which can cure these wrinkles under the eyes far effectively than many expensive creams and treatments. Let us discuss some of the home remedies here.
Pineapple
The juicy extract from the pineapple consists of an active enzyme that is known as Bromelain. This active enzyme is an anti inflammatory agent. Bromelain is a natural form of alpha hydroxy acid and that help in the treatment of wrinkles. It has astringent properties and it also helps in the exfoliation of the skin. The process to be followed while applying the juice is that you leave it on your skin for twenty minutes and then you wash it off. Doing this on a regular basis will help in treating wrinkles and also prevents the early onset of wrinkles.
Castor Oil
The skin that is present under our eyes is very fragile and it has to be moisturized on an everyday basis. This helps in keeping away any kind of damage from wrinkles. Castor Oil acts as a rich moisturizer and it can be used on an everyday basis. It helps in keeping the skin under the eyes soft and moisturized. Dip your index finger into the oil and apply it under your eyes. Never over-moisturize the area with the oil as this may cause puffy eyes.
Rosemary
Massaging rosemary on the skin under the eyes gently for a while can make a very big difference in protecting the skin against wrinkles. Using Rosemary Oil can protect the skin as well as nourish it. Take some oil and massage it under your eyes in an upward stroke.
Cucumber
The lack of enough moisture on the skin can cause it to break under the pressure which essentially is the prime reason for wrinkle lines. Since the skin under the eye is very sensitive it is easier for wrinkles to be formed in that region. Using cucumber slicing for moisturizing the area is a good solution to soften and moisturize the skin. Take a cucumber that been refrigerated and slice it into pieces. These slices should be kept under the eyes for 15 minutes every day.
Ginger and Honey
Honey is a natural moisturizer whereas ginger aids in the circulation of blood around that area. One teaspoon of ginger extract and half a spoon of honey should be taken. Massage this under your eyes for 10 minutes every day very gently.
Coconut Oil
The fact that is present in the coconut oil will help the skin in getting nourished and it will also aid in the reversing of wrinkles lines on the skin and prevents new lines from being formed. The oil consists of so many nutrients that just a short period of using coconut oil for your eyes will show a noticeable reduction in the wrinkle lines.
Avocados
Avocados consist of a major amount of good fat that is a key component in keeping the skin soft. Make the avocado into slices and then leave it on your eyes. Make sure that you gently keep pressing on the slices so that the natural oils will be able to seep through the skin and nourish it.
Egg Whites
The white part of an egg is also known to have skin tightening features that will help reduce the wrinkles and also it will prevent premature wrinkles from appearing. Take a good quantity of egg white and leave a layer of the skin. When you feel that the skin is starting to pull then you can wash it off. Do not leave the egg whites on the skin for too long as it may cause eye bags.
