  • Don’t listen to what people say, watch what they do.

  • Travel -- As much as you can. As far as you can. As long as you can. Life’s not meant to be lived in one place.

  • Before you talk, listen. Before you react, think. Before you criticize, wait. Before you pray, forgive. Before you quit, try.

  • Do the things you enjoy the most and hang out with the people you enjoy the most.

  • Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people.

  • Find three hobbies -- one to make you money, one to keep you in shape, and one to keep you creative.

  • Try and wait 24 hours before getting mad and reacting. If it doesn't bother you by then, it probably wasn't important enough to get mad over.

  • When you finally get something good, enjoy it. Don't always go looking for something better.

  • Some people are funny. They spend money they don't have, to buy things they don't need, to impress people they don't even like.
