What is the Female Reproductive System?

A female reproductive system is made up of the internal and external sex organs whose function is to enable reproduction of the new offspring or species.

The female external reproductive organs are the secondary organs that are visible externally and also known as Vulva (which means covering).

The vulva consists of mons pubis, labia, clitoris, and urethra.

A female's internal reproductive organs are the vagina, uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries.
