How Soya Milk Compares with Other Milk Its Nutrition, Benefits, Risks
The Soy Milk beverage comes from the soybean plant and could be used instead of cow milk for daily tea and coffee. Among the soy milk brands available, vitamins and minerals are added, like vitamin D and calcium.
Soybean, native to Asia, is the source of this preferred legume popular globally. Soybean is very healthy and gives rise to several products like oil, soy milk, and tofu. Gone are the days of the cow milk monopoly. Many milk choices include almond, oat, and pistachio milk. Imagine using soy milk instead of cow milk. Some experiments showed that rodents consuming more isoflavones increased their chances of developing breast cancer. The differences between humans and rodents make such thinking unreliable. Instead, soy foods are believed to decrease breast and prostate cancer risks and improve breast cancer survival rates.
