We all know that exercising is a must to keep fit. However, most of us lack the motivation to actually do it every day. There are various factors that may prohibit you from sticking to a good exercise regime-

  • Busy Mornings
  • Finish house chores
  • Office timings
  • Kids school
  • Laziness

So, how do you motivate yourself to actually follow a good exercise schedule? Although it is not easy, it is not impossible either. All you need is a little bit of coordination and organization to help you achieve this goal. Tips to follow a self-motivating exercise regime:

Music

If you are a big music lover, there is nothing more addicting than a good walk with great music. You know you do not get the time to listen to your favorite tracks all the time. So, why not actually make time to listen to your type of songs, while exercising. It is a great way to get out of the bed and shed that morning laziness.

Time

Time is something that we actually seem to not have enough of these days. Try shedding that laziness and waking up early. Instead of setting the alarm at, say, 6:30 am set it for 6:10 am and see the difference. You will not only end up getting some more time for yourself but also set a routine.

Clothes

Looking at your old clothes can be a great way to boost your morale. Keep the one dress that you adore the most, right in front of your eyes. It works wonders when you see your dream dangling in front of you. This works a big motivator for people.

Idol

Having an idol or role model that you absolutely admire is a great motivator too. If you really look up to a person or a fitness guru, then that serves as motivation enough for you to begin. Here, your will plays a very important role.

Health issues

Last, but not the least, we all know health is important, but not many of us actually work towards maintaining it. For example- walking helps ward off many ailments and stop recurrence of others. Set small goals or targets and gradually increase them with time.

Motivating yourself for regular exercise cannot happen overnight. It is a long process that has to begin with your mind and will only. Once you identify what works for you, it will not be very difficult to actually follow the regime.
