The imap_utf8_to_mutf7() function accepts UTF-8 string as a parameter and encodes in UTF-7 format.

Syntax

imap_utf8_to_mutf7($txt);

Parameters

1	txt (Mandatory) This is a string value representing the UTF-8 string that is to be encoding.

Return Values

This function returns a string holding the encoded UTF-7, value of the given string in case of success and a Boolean value which is FALSE in case of failure.

PHP Version

This function was first introduced in PHP Version 4 and works in all the later versions.
