PHP - Function lstat()
The lstat() function can return information about a file or symbolic link.
Syntax
array lstat ( string $filename )
This function can gather the statistics of file or symbolic link named by filename and identical to stat() function except if the filename parameter is a symbolic link, the status of the symbolic link is returned, not the status of the file pointed to by the symbolic link.
