PHP - Function filectime()
The filectime() function can return the last modification time of the specified file. This function can check the daily modification of a file and modification of inode. Inode modification can refer to a modification of authority, modification of owner, modification of user group, or modification of other metadata. If successful, the function can return the last modification time of the file as a Unix timestamp. If it fails, then returns false.
Syntax
int filectime ( string $filename )
The result of this function can be cached, and use clearstatcache() to clear the cache. We can use the filemtime () function to return the time when the file content was last modified.
Example
<?php echo filectime("/PhpProject/sample.txt"); echo "\n"; echo "Last change: ".date("F d Y H:i:s.",filectime("/PhpProject/sample.txt")); ?>
Output
1590217956 Last change: May 23 2020 09:12:36.
