When a force of $40\ N$ is applied on a body it moves with an acceleration of $5\ ms^{-2}$. Calculate the mass of the body.
Here given, applied force $F=40\ N$
Acceleration $a=5\ ms^{-2}$
Therefore, the mass of the body $ m=\frac{F}{a}$
$=\frac{40\ N}{5\ ms^{-2}}$
$=8\ kg$
