What should be added to $-\frac{15}{7}$ to get $\frac{4}{35}$

Given:  $-\frac{15}{7}$

To find: What should be added to  $-\frac{15}{7}$  to get $\frac{4}{35}$

Solution:

Let the number be $x$

$-\frac{15}{7} + x$    = $\frac{4}{35}$

$x $ =   $\frac{4}{35}$ +  $\frac{15}{7} $

 L C M of 35 , 7 is  35

$x $=$\frac{4}{35}$ +  $\frac{15\times5}{7\times5} $

$x $=$\frac{4}{35}$ +  $\frac{75}{35} $

$x $=$\frac{4+75}{35}$

$x $=$\frac{79}{35}$

Therefore we will add $\frac{79}{35}$ to $-\frac{15}{7}$ to get $\frac{4}{35}$
