What is explosion, and why they are bad?
An explosion occurs when a large amount of energy is released into a small area in a very short time. They usually occur along with the generation of high temperatures and the release of gases. Usually, explosions cause huge destruction
They are caused by the sudden release of energy stored, like
- Chemical energy, such as gunpowder, TNT
- Pressurized gas, such as a gas cylinder, aerosol can
- Nuclear energy, such as in uranium-235 and plutonium-239
Nuclear Explosion:
