What is grazing and overgrazing?

Grazing is a method in which domestic livestock are allowed to consume wild vegetation present on the land which is unsuitable for farming. This is done to convert grass into animal products such as meat, milk, and wool.

Overgrazing is the practice of repeated grazing of livestock on vegetation which has not recovered from a former grazing.
