Bacteria have many different uses in agriculture, such as fixing nitrogen to provide nitrogen fertilizer for plants, breaking down organic matter so the plants can use it for food, some of them protect plants against phytopathogenic attacks, and acts as a biofertilizer that increases crop growth & yield.
