Solve the following:$16+8\div4-2\times 3$


Given :

The given expression is $16+8\div4-2\times 3$.

To do:

We have to solve the given expression and find its value.

Solution :

$16 + 8\div 4 -2 \times 3$


÷÷4  - 2 \times 3$

Using BODMAS rule

$= 16 + 2 - 2 \times 3$             $[as  8 \div4 =2 ]$

 

$= 16 + 2 - 6$                      $ [as 2\times3 = 6]$

$= 18 - 6$                            $ [as 16 + 2 = 18]$

$= 12$

Therefore, the value of $16 + 8\div 4 -2 \times 3$ is 12.
