Solve the following:$(-20)+(-8) \div (-2) \times 2$

Given :

The given expression is $(-20)+(-8) \div (-2) \times 2$.

To do :

We have to find the value of the given expression.

Solution :

We have to use the BODMAS method in these types of problems.

Therefore,

$(-20)+(-8) \div (-2) \times 2= (-20)+\frac{(-8)}{(-2)} \times 2$

                                    $= (-20) + \frac{8}{2} \times 2$

                                    $= (-20) + 8$

                                    $= -(20-8)$

                                    $= -12$.

Therefore, the value of $(-20)+(-8) \div (-2) \times 2$ is $-12$.
