Given: $\frac{3}{8} \ +\ \frac{9}{16} \ -\ \frac{1}{8}$

To find: We have to find the value of $\frac{3}{8} \ +\ \frac{9}{16} \ -\ \frac{1}{8}$

Solution: 

$\frac{3}{8} \ +\ \frac{9}{16} \ -\ \frac{1}{8}$

= $\ \frac{3\ \times \ 2\ +\ 9\ \times \ 1\ -\ 1\ \times \ 2}{16}$

= $\frac{6\ +\ 9\ \ -\ 2}{16}$

= $\frac{15\ -\ 2}{16}$

= $\ \frac{13}{16}$
