We have to find the balance amount in the account.

Solution :

Amount deposited in January $= 4000$

Amount withdrawn in February $= 3500$

Balance amount $= 4000 - 3500  = 500$

Amount deposited in March   $=5000 $

Total amount in account $= 5000 + 500 = 5500$

Amount withdrawn in April $= 2000$

Balance amount in account  $= 5500 - 2000 = 3500 $

Balance amount in May is $3500$
