Explain areolar tissue.


Areolar tissue is a loose connective tissue present between the skin and muscles. The areolar tissue fills the gaps between organs and attaches skin to the underlying muscles. It repair of tissues and provides support to the internal organs.

Areolar tissue are present between the three main types of cells such as fibroblasts, white blood cells, and mast cells; three types of fibers such as collagen fibers, elastin fibers, and reticular fibers; and a background fluid matrix.
