How to Dilate or Shrink Your Pupils on Command?
When Pupils are the dark circles present at the center of the eye, their purpose is to allow light into the eye and concentrate it on the retina which is the nerve cells in the rear of the eye) so that you can look. Muscles control every pupil in your iris, which is the colored area of your eye).

When Our Pupils Shrink and Expand
In low-light conditions, pupils expand (become larger) because the eye needs more light to enter, making it simpler to see. If there is a significant amount of bright light, your pupil will shrink.
A wholly expanded pupil usually is 4 to 8 millimeters, whereas a shrinker pupil is 2 to 4 millimeters in size.
The size of your pupil also varies depending on where you are gazing, and it's different in both cases when you are looking at something close to you or far away. When you concentrate on a nearby item, your pupils shrink. Your pupils expand when the thing is far away.
You can't deliberately regulate the size of your pupils. In most cases, when you have an expanded pupil, you may not notice it. A rare case is that you may feel a tightening in your eye.
Changes in your eyesight will likely be the first thing you notice. Expanded pupils are more susceptible to intense light, such as sunshine, which might result in fuzzy vision. You've probably experienced this sensation if your pupils were expanded with medications when visiting an eye doctor.
How to Dilate or Shrink Pupil?
Because it controls how much light enters the eye, the iris is crucial to the eye's regular functioning. The iris nerves that govern the pupil's size regulate this. Nerve impulses travel down the optic nerve once light reaches the eye, influencing pupil size. The pupil changes unintentionally, which triggers the reflex.
According to science, it is said that direct control of the pupillary musculature is impossible. But there are some rare cases where people can change the size of the pupil on command.

Different Lighting Conditions
During the daytime, less light is required to see what surrounds you. Thus the iris gets narrower, and the pupils shrink dramatically. In contrast, in places with fewer light situations, the pupil will widen as your eye tries to allow in more light to see objects that you might have seen readily during the day.
Whenever you concentrate your eyes on a closed object, the pupil shrinks to improve the depth of vision in the eyeball by preventing the light from dispersed by the cornea's perimeter. When you gaze at anything further away, the width of your pupil expands, and your muscles contract to loosen the tendons within the eye. This will cause the lens to soften and form a narrower contour, enabling you to view faraway things in focus.
Use of Medicine
A few medications can damage the nerves that govern your pupils, stopping them from shrinking when exposed to light. Similarly, dilatation eye drops allow the doctor to see the part of the eye when in an eye test by easing the muscles in the iris that restrict the pupil.
Pull your belly in and hold your muscles firm. When doing so, you can look in the mirror to observe if your pupil expands. Some individuals can develop their pupils this way, even though the theoretical underpinnings are unknown. Try a new approach if no improvement is seen after continuous tensed muscles and stretching.
Because of the release of hormones and adrenaline, your pupils might expand considerably whenever you are thrilled or sexually aroused. These hormones drive your thoughts to race, muscles to stiffen, and respiration to speed up in addition to expander pupil.
Consumption of coffee or something which contains caffeine
Effects of caffeine that act on the sympathetic nervous system might cause your iris muscles to expand.
Precautions before having Drugs
Unless prescribed by a doctor, avoid using drugs or other medical substances. Some prescribed eye drops can also expand pupils, but they have significant adverse effects that a doctor must carefully consider. If you are undergoing methadone therapy o r have an illness that causes your pupils to shrink, consult your doctor for assistance on how to combat this.
Some hard drugs also produce expanded pupils. These are banned in most places, and when mixed with other narcotics that have developed or shrunken pupils, they can pose significant health hazards.
It's said that the eyes are the windows to the soul, which may need to be factually correct. Studies have revealed that the eyes may be a portal into anyone's emotions and moods. Because pupils are an uncontrollable element of human nonverbal cues, the diameter of a person's pupils may represent one's mental state by giving someone a clear feeling of sexual desire, anxiety, pity, or hatred.
Pupils can alter substantially in reaction to various moods and in response to drugs, lighting circumstances, and the foods they've consumed. Conversely, there might be a more critical reason for pupil scale changes, for instance, brain damage or some uncommon illnesses. Pupils, according to fluctuations, are natural and, in most circumstances, harmless. They can occur due to a variety of causes. Previous physical damage to the eye can also influence pupil size.
