What is TFT?

What is QVGA?

QVGA (Quarter Video Graphics Array) is a display screen resolution. It has a resolution of 320x240 pixels, which is one-quarter of the VGA (Video Graphics Array) standard's size. (640x480 pixels).

QVGA displays use a backlight to illuminate a layer of liquid crystals, identical to other LCD displays. These liquid crystals are arranged in a grid of pixels, each of which can be controlled separately to allow or block light. Images and words can be displayed on a screen by selectively blocking light at specific pixels.

QVGA resolution has the advantage of consuming less power than higher- resolution displays. As a result, it is well-suited for usage on mobile devices where battery life is important. Lower resolution also requires less processing ability to render images and videos, which can enhance overall performance.

QVGA displays have some limitations. When reading text or images with tiny details, the lower resolution can result in a loss of detail and clarity. Furthermore, the lower pixel density may be incompatible with bigger screens, where a higher resolution is required to produce clear and sharp images.
