Note

  • The Preliminary Examination (PT) consists of two papers carrying 200 marks each.

  • The Preliminary Examination is of Objective Type (having multiple choice questions) and each paper carries 100 (objective type) questions.

  • Only PT qualifying candidates are allowed for the Main Exam.

  • Each paper will be of two hours duration.

  • The written examination consists of six papers.

  • Marks obtained in PT are just qualifying and hence no role in final selection or ranking.

  • Marks obtained in rest six papers (from Paper I to Paper VI of written exam) and in interview play major role in the final selection or ranking.
