Lodash - escapeRegexp method



Syntax

_.escapeRegexp([string=''])

Escapes the RegExp special characters "^", "$", "", ".", "*", "+", "?", "(", ")", "[", "]", "{", "}", and "|" in string.

Arguments

  • [string=''] (string) − The string to escape.

Output

  • (string) − Returns the escaped string.

Example

var _ = require('lodash');
var result = _.escapeRegExp('[tutorialspoint](https://tutorialspoint.com/)');;

console.log(result);
