jQuery Effect - Highlight Effect



Description

The Highlight effect can be used with effect() method. This highlights the element's background with a specific color, default is yellow.

Syntax

Here is the simple syntax to use this effect −

selector.effect( "highlight", {arguments}, speed );

Parameters

Here is the description of all the arguments −

  • color − Highlight color. Default is "#ffff99".

  • mode − The mode of the effect. Can be "show", "hide". Default is "show".
