You are provided with four test tubes containing sugar solution, baking soda solution, tamarind solution, salt solution. Write down activity to find nature (acidic/basic/neutral) of each solution.
In order to find the Nature of each solution, the following steps should be followed.
Take each solution in different test tubes and label them.
Take 4 strips of red litmus paper and 4 strips of blue litmus paper.
Check each solution with both litmus paper.
If the solution changes red litmus to blue, then it is a Base
If the solution changes blue litmus to red, then it is an Acid.
If both the papers don't change colour, then the solution can be a Neutral one.
