Which structures in human female are equivalent to the following structures in the human male?
(a) testes (b) vas deferens (c) penis
In each case say in what respect the structures are equivalent?
In the human female, structures equivalent to below human male structures are as follows:
(a) testes: ovaries in females
As ovaries also produce gametes in female, similar to testes in the male.
(b) vas deferens: oviducts in females
As oviduct carries gametes similar to vas deferens in the male.
(c) penis: vagina in females
As both are copulatory organs and penis transfers sperms into the female body by penetrating through the vagina.
