Which are Outer and Inner planets in our Solar System?
Eight planets of our solar system are divide into two parts: inner planets and outer planets.
The 4 inner planets are fairly small, rocky, and nearest to the Sun, they are - Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars.
The 4 outer planets are on the far side of the asteroid belt, they are - Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
These outer planets are also known as the Jovian planets or gas giants.
