$x=(a-b+5c)-(3a-2b+c)$   (Transposing $3a-2b+c$ to the other side)

$x=(a-3a)+(-b+2b)+(5c-c)$

$x=-2a+b+4c$

The expression to be added is $-2a+b+4c$.
